Brenda Alcorta:  Lissa and Jimmy Joe do an outstanding job running the events at the Lazy Y Arena.  They are so friendly and very supportive of all who come to compete or even just watch. They run a high class operation and are always available to answer questions and/or help people out. Experienced riders will find great cattle and competition and beginners will learn from the best.  I would encourage any level sorter or roper to go check the great time at the Lazy Y Arena. We all have a lot of fun together, and I know you won't be disappointed. So, bring your horse, and come on out!

Cheryl Jones: Lissa,  Thanks for putting on such a nice show.  I really enjoyed it.  If you hear of others please let me know.  Cheryl

Kathleen Sheridan: Lissa, Thank you so much for putting on  this Competition.  I really enjoyed the day and appreciate the work it takes to put on such an event.
 Thanks again,
Kathleen Sheridan
Michele Elam: Hey  Lissa and Jimmy Joe!
Just wanting to thank you again for putting on the VRH show.  I had a blast and can't wait for the next one (although I'm totally worried about Jimmy Jo's next trail course...lol). You guys really did do an awesome job and I thank you again.
See you soon!
Michele
Dawn Smith: I attended the Lazy Y Cattle Sorting for the *first time* last weekend(1/2/10). I loved it! I have a green horse, so I was tentative. Everybody was so friendly!  With the 80 second award, even green horses or riders have a chance to win something. All of this was a pleasant surprize for me! Don't be afraid to drive in cold- I'm glad I did! And, the drive is straight forward, arena easy to find. Since I come from Reedley, that was also a concern of mine. 180 to 99N take the Ave 7 exit and it's just a short way on the frontage road.
A nice little warming fire on a cold day, a random prize drawing just for participating... it doesn't get any better! Lastly, I have never seen prices this low for working cattle. Never.
Rock on Lazy Y!!
And BTW, watch out for me, I have an eye on winning the saddle and/or a buckle! woohoo!

~Dawn in Reedley
